After the death of the second president of kenya, Daniel Arap Moi, who ruled for decades the kenyan government has declared Tuesday February 11 as a public holiday.
Speaking at Harambee house the Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua said “To enable every Kenyan to participate in the celebration of the life of President Moi”

He added that Moi’s will have State Funeral at Nyayo Stadium on Tuesday, February 11 and burial on Wednesday, February 12 will be televised.
The kenyan embassy in honor of the life and times the late Mr. Moi has opened a book of condolences for those who wish until the 10 February 2020
