WHO WE ARE

Kenya France Femine Relief Initiative (KEFRRI) is a collective of several Kenyan associations, supported by the the Kenyan Embassy in Paris, concerned with the current situation of drought and famine in Kenya.

OUR CONCERN

Kenya is experiencing the worst drought in 40 years with serious consequences on the most vulnerable people. Children and women are the first victims with the risk of famine, acute malnutrition, lack of portable water, school failure, domestic violence, sexual exploitation and child abuse.

HOW TO ACT

With the support of our donors and partners we will be able to help families to get out of emergency situations. You can join us during the Drought alleviation Drive on the 11 February 2023 and donate online. Note that all receipts will be in the name of Miss East Africa France Association which is part of the organizing committee.

WHY IS THIS HAPPENING AGAIN?

Global warming, poverty and the impact of COVID-19 are all at the heart of this disaster. With the subsequent lack of rainfall, crops and pasture for animals have turned to dust.
