The officials of the Independent Electoral and Boundaries (IEBC) received a cold welcome in Berlin after they were installed in a tent outside the the Kenyan Embassy. The offficials from Kenya are in Germany to carry out the diaspora voter registation which started yesterday until friday 4 february 2022.
Its only after diaspora community complained the Embassy’s decision to put the registration center outside in a tent with the winter freezing temperatures, the IEBC officials were given a room inside the Kenyan Embassy building.

The registartion of diaspora will run until the 30 February 2022, during the embassy working hours 9h to 13h and from 14h to 17h every day saturday and sunday included.
